OUR APPROACH
Our work is guided by a rights-based, inclusive, community-centered, and evidence-informed approach. We believe sustainable change happens when women, girls, families, communities, institutions, and partners are actively involved in identifying challenges and developing solutions.
Gender Equality
We place gender equality at the center of our work, addressing the barriers that limit women and girls from accessing education, health, economic opportunities, leadership, and decision-making.
Human Rights
We recognize the dignity and rights of every individual and promote programs that advance equality, freedom, safety, inclusion, and access to opportunities.
Community Participation
We work alongside communities rather than working for communities. We engage local stakeholders, women, girls, leaders, institutions, and other partners in designing and implementing solutions that respond to local needs.
Evidence & Learning
We use data, research, monitoring, evaluation, and community feedback to understand what works, measure results, strengthen accountability, and continuously improve our programs.
Safeguarding
We are committed to creating safe, respectful, and inclusive environments for women, girls, children, and other vulnerable individuals who engage with our programs. We promote zero tolerance for abuse, exploitation, harassment, discrimination, and other forms of harm.
Partnerships
We believe lasting change requires collaboration. We work with government institutions, civil society organizations, development partners, private-sector organizations, communities, researchers, donors, and other stakeholders to expand opportunities and strengthen impact.
Sustainable Development Goals
Our programs contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to poverty reduction, health, quality education, gender equality, decent work, reduced inequalities, climate action, peace and justice, and partnerships for sustainable development.
OUR COMMITMENT
At EmpowerHer Foundation, we are committed to building a society where women and girls are empowered to succeed in life and work, exercise their rights, achieve economic independence, and participate meaningfully in the development of their communities.
